➡️Review:
This book starts with 6 hypothesis that we all came to heard since Childhood that are about the 5 Famous women of Ramayana Yug , Ahalya, Kaikeyi, Surpanakha, Mandodari, Tara.
Since childhood we heard the stories of these women , the stories of how helpless they were , How they are always dependent on someone , In Ancient period they have been portrayed from the perspective of a third person always But What if they are stronger enough than we think? What if All they have been through is just another strategy to take revenge?
Yes, You heard it right this book is written from their own perspective and the behind story .I love how beautifully the author has portrayed all the characters that while reading the book you will feel like it's all happening in front of you. Stories will keep you tied to the book till the last page. The writing is Captivating and the characters are believable.
I was pleasantly surprised by reading this behind Stories , It blew my mind that we have never ever thought such perspective can exists. I couldn't put the book down in between the chapters. Each character has 9-10 chapters.
The language is Beginner friendly and the writing style is welll structured, The author seems logophile cause he used his vast vocabulary knowledge in this book and has done the wordplay very cleverly .
The book is having lots of illustration that also helps reader to memorize a scenario , However the illustrations are not colorful, and even the book cover is very simple .It could have been even better if it is more colorful. the book also has hand-drawn map of ancient india which is largely clear.
I personally love the character of Ahalya and Tara . I would like to recommend this book to everyone who likes reading Mythology and heard about the story of these women and wanted to know there perspective.
